Many yachts in the region are managed and maintained by SEA Marine Services on behalf of owners not available to undertake or oversee repair or restoration work and basic checks and maintenence tasks. We strive to make your time afloat as trouble free as possible.

A comprehensive service schedule is outlined below. Maintenance schedules are adapted to each customer and their requests for specific tasks to be undertaken.

SERVICE SCHEDULE......

• DAILY CHECKS
• Check moorings & shore connections for security
  
• Check sail covers and awnings for security
  
• Open vessel and provide fresh air
  
• Check bilges for water and run pumps as required
  
• Fresh water wash hull and topsides and decks
  
• Interior Clean
  

• WEEKLY TASKS
• Reporting to owner via email
  
• Check bilges and operation of bilge pumps
  
• Check seacocks for leaks
  
• Check battery charging for correct function
  
• Top up batteries
  
• Flush heads
  
• Run freshwater system
  
• Run air conditioning for 30 minutes
  

• BI WEEKLY TASKS
• Check main engine and generator for coolant and oil
  
• Run generator for 30 minutes & check gauges
  
• Run main engine under load for 30 minutes & check gauges
  
• Remove and clean speed log transducer
  
• Run watermaker
  
• Switch on and test navigation instruments
  

• MONTHLY TASKS
• Check internal lights for correct function
  
• Check external & navigation lights for correct function
  
• Hull compound/polish and wax
  
• Stainless Steel Polish
  
• Check gas alarm
  
• Use of Teak Cleaner / Brightener
  
• Washing of Sheets, Halyards and Warps
